Garcia vs Machado at 135 would be a great fight.

I’d favor Garcia just because Machado has proven to have more glass in his chin than happy hour.

He was a blown up super featherweight. He hasn’t even beat anyone at Super Featherweight either. I’d confidently pick Tanajara to beat him at 135 tbh.

You think highly of the kid. I get it.
        We have different opinions.

Not that highly tbh, I just think most of Garcia’s opponents have been made to measure.

I wanna see him and Haney step up ASAP. Linares would’ve been interesting...

I still believe the Linares fight will get made
The reason is cause if Garcia beats him it’ll look good on his record
But Linares would be that easy for Garcia , he’s gonna have to dig imo

I have the feeling Garcia probably clips him early and gets his first credible win over a guy with name value, but it’s a big step up from the Fonesca’s and the Duno’s of this world.

I think Linares is still a decent fighter.

Definitely agree that Linares is still a very good fighter
It would be his biggest test to date
I think he would probably catch him late
At least it would be a step forward for Garcia

I think skipping the Linares fight ( if that's the case ) was GBP's call.
I got the impression that Garcia wanted Linares next.

I could still see it happening at a later date tbf. They may just have another tune up type in July then meet later in the year, hopefully with fans in attendance.
