Anyone see the Gatti/Gamache fight in full?

Jim Lampley was talking about how much more weight Gatti put on for the day of the fight. Well past 15 pounds since the weigh in.

That fight was a brutal one sided pounding. Gamache tried to fight back, even took more leather to give some back but his punches were of no affect.

And when he was one the canvas, he looked really really brain dead. He would try to get up but then his eyes would roll back and he'd almost pass out. I can see why Gamache wants to sue Gatti. This was not a fair fight at all.

Still a Gatti fan, though. Mainly coz he's entertaining.

i think everyone here has seen that fight in full. short but sweet.

and he was 19 pounds more then when he weighed in. But its legal so i dont see how gamache can gain anything from sueing gatti... but i understand why he's trying to

After the 2nd KD Gamache should have just stayed down. He would have saved himself from further damage.

People have the Gamache vs Gatti fight confused. What people dont realize is that he is not sueing Gatti over the natural weight gain after the weigh-in. What Gamache is mad about is that he contends Gatti NEVER MADE weight.

"The suits allege Russo let Gatti step off the scale even as the needle went all the way up, and then ignored complaints by Gamache's handlers. Less than 24 hours later, HBO unofficially weighed the boxers again, and Gatti came in at 160 pounds, while Gamache weighed 145."

I still think that if a guy sacrafices and makes weight at the weigh-in then it shouldn't matter what he weighs come fight night but he has to make weight to begin with.

yup. The first uppercut knocked him cold already...the 2 shots after that were just icing on the cake, then to boot Gamache hit his head on the canvas hard.

the ring had extra padding that night though, luckily. Perfect finish from gatti. quick hands. at that point gatti was among the top p4p punchers in the division
