But the decision often went against Oscar and almost always goes towards Alvarez

It like Oscar learned from his own career and put measures in place to guarantee a decision almost always goes to Canelo
He had a few suspect cards in his time as well though.

Whitaker, Quartey, Sturm, the one judge who had him beating Mayweather.

Oscar was a far bigger star than Canelo too.

I pick Canelo to win. I think he has much more punching power especially with the right hand, I like his combinations better and his body punching is better than Oscar's body punching by far. He takes a punch better and has never been knocked down in his career. Canelo is naturally the bigger man and has now outgrown 154 and maybe even 160. Oscar was a natural welterweight. Oscar was small at 154. Maybe the older Oscar was perfect at about 151 but he was on the smaller side for a jr middleweight while Canelo actually fought Lara at 155 limit not 154.

Tricky one, Oscar at a weight he was probably pushing the limits of his physical capabilities, against Canelo who was so tight at the weight it probably affected him negatively.

I think probably Oscar by close decision.
