Ruiz not much bigger than Canelo

I saw this picture and was surprised that Canelo wasn't that much smaller than Ruiz. Maybe it's the angle but after seeing this picture, it made me think Canelo would've had a really good shot in beating him.

If Canelo told Ruiz to skip the AJ rematch and fight him instead, Canelo might've became heavyweight champ. As long as Canelo didn't try to go on a toe to toe war with Ruiz, I don't see why he wouldn't have been able to beat him.

How great would the body work Canelo could've done to Ruiz as well. If not stopped by body shots, maybe Ruiz's team would've stopped the fight with all the combinations to the head Canelo would've given him.

Ruiz is very muscular under all that fat and he would still weigh well over 200 pounds even if he was lean. To believe Canelo could beat Ruiz is to believe Canelo could beat AJ if AJ had an off night. Canelo is never going to be a heavyweight or cruiserweight world champ and he is too smart to even try that.
