I think Fury and his team are more keen on the fight than Joshua's people, but it will have to happen, the UK fans won't stand for it if AJ ducks.
Comments Thread For: Warren Does Not Believe Hearn Really Wants Fury-Joshua

I don’t believe Barry & Eddie want the Fury fight now, or any time soon! They can possibly program AJ’s circuit board into believing he could want the fight - that’s ooonly if the fight can be made in the comfortable furnished risk free environment of the UK or Saudi Arabia.
Barrys belief system of “...if AJ’s unbeaten for TEN years and doesn’t fight Deontay Wilder - I’ll take that” is summed up in UK commercial robot preservation. This attitude of course would also apply to a potential AJ -vs- Fury bout.
And Eddies warped belief system that believes, “...we have a guy (AJ) who is making all of this money, and can continue doing so in RISK FREE fights, now you’re asking our guy to be in the biggest fight of his career (against Wilder) for a little more (money).” is money preservation thinking that’s inherited from Daddy Barry.
Warren isn’t blind, as a matter of fact he can be very observant - when he needs to be for his money.
The Hearns organization was always shook when it came to facing Wilder - and rightfully so.
So much so, that Hearn made Whyte the go to guy to face Wilder - if Wilder was to face AJ. And who knows who else would’ve been thrown into the mix had Wilder beaten Whyte.
AJ may be past his scared inherited wuss status from his promotional team - AJ NEVER had any enthusiasm whatsoever in hyping the Wilder fight that could’ve been EASILY promoted & made several times....
Fury may now take the place of Wilder.... Team AJ never talks tough when all parties are FREE to negotiate, it’s only when all parties have commitments.Comment

He hasn't taken one backward step. Won world titles, unified and defended titles. Unlike pillow fists who rather than defend his title against Vlad goes on a burgers and ******* fueled binge. Wilder is a curse on the heavyweight division and has no intention to fight AJ.Comment

Don’t make this about Matchroom, DAZN offered Wilder 100m which advised by Finkle and haymon rejected the offer because he wanted to know how much AJ was getting.
That my friend is plain ******ity, didn’t Money get lowballed to fight the A-side Oscar dela Hoya? Which he comfortably won then became the cash cow? If AJ was that easy to beat why not take the 100m, beat him then become undisputed. Now he has lost to a cherry picked fat Fury, how does betting on himself now sound? Between fighting Breazeale and Fury twice, he didn’t make close to 60-65m.
That my friend is an example of making an arse of yourself.Comment

Didn’t Mayweather know the split when he fought DeLaHoya? At least Mayweather knew he was getting about 32%. Wilder had a right to know what percentage he was getting especially since Hearn and AJ literally offered him a flat fee equivalent to 12.5% in the past.Don’t make this about Matchroom, DAZN offered Wilder 100m which advised by Finkle and haymon rejected the offer because he wanted to know how much AJ was getting.

If this isn’t about Matchroom then AJ fans shouldn’t try and use the DAZN offer as an example of Wilder ducking AJ when it’s not?
I’m pretty sure wilder made $60M or close to it for fighting Breazeale Ortiz AND Fury II.
If you think that DAZN deal, where they refuse to disclose AJs purse is acceptable, then encourage Hearn and AJ to make the same exact offer to Fury.Comment
