Pretty hard to measure something like that. I give Floyd the nod though. His speed held up his whole career against some of the elites and even after taking big shots. Looking forward to seeing Ryan as a finished product though. I like that he's working with Reynosa and Canelo now.

Cant argue with that, Mayweather’s speed stood up to the test of time, RG is fairly green and untested

thing is what folk often don't seem to get is that is that real boxing intelligence makes you seem faster. Like chess the best boxers are always a move ahead, anticipating, corraling and guiding their opponents range of options down a predictable set of paths. And when you know what's coming then you can get there first... if you know what they can do next and already planned what you're gonna do about it two moves ahead you look like goddamn Neo.

Floyd had this... quick sure, but there were faster dudes. Andre Ward too, people say he's quick, but he ain't really, he just made it his business to know what was coming. Loma too. Real boxing speed is in the mind, though of course there are limits - for instance Taylor was simply too quick for Hopkin's 40 year old synapses despite Bernard having the boxing brain of the pair.
