Broner always lacked a good father figure looking out for his best interests.

Yes, he had a father. But instead of instilling discipline and teaching his son how to behave like a civilized human being, his father became a yes man, and later just a minor stage prop in his son's freak show.

His trainer also did him little favors. Yes, he taught him how to box. But as we saw in the Maidana fight, his trainer was just a yes man too who also failed to instill discipline.

It all came to a head in the very time he needed fight guidance the most, after that 2nd round with the big knockdown. Instead of guidance, Stafford allowed Broner to curse him and in effect run his own corner. And we saw how that worked out for them.

Really the only good that can come out of Broner's career at this point is to serve as a warning for future young fighters on how not to act both in the ring and out of the ring.

Sure he could. Drake can't rap for **** but he's huge. Kids nowadays are mostly too ****** to know the difference between a good rapper and a bad rapper. Broner already has the image and rep, all he has to do is spout some nonsense trash talk like he does in press conferences and add a "yeah" and "uh huh" every now and then, throw some money around and he's good. Rap is garbage nowadays. I'm sure AB could pass the test of modern rappers.

Everybody in the world can't be a rapper. The average person has almost no chance to make it in the rap game. Ever heard of a real job? That formula works for millions of people. He should try it

Kids nowadays don't know the difference between music and rap. That is it.
