I don't understand why people keep acting like Wlad's chin is made of glass: He has been stopped 3 times, yes, but look at how...Purity loss was from exhaustion; Sanders, well that was a beating, but at least from a fast, powerful, southpaw; and of course, Brewster, which was another fight Wlad ran out of gas.
When have you ever seen Wlad knocked out cold, like Lennox Lewis?
The guy took Purity's punches, though not sure exactly how hard he throws...was knocked down by Sanders, kept getting back up, then going down, but still was able to get back up at the end (though he had no chance of winning)...Sam Peter knocked him down, but Wlad got back up; he was also hit several times in the back of the head.
Maybe he is the equal to Diego's chin, but the heavyweight version: will to go down from solid shots to the chin, but will get back up.Last edited by Abe Attell; 08-10-2006, 02:44 PM.Comment

Mayweather Sr. has a 50% chance of being a ****** biased moron who hates whites, has no idea about either of the Klitschko brothers and proved that when he criticized Vitali's chin, one of the most proven heavyweight chins in recent years, and who probably sucks ****. Well he might not suck ****, but he's a ****ing biased idiot and he hates the Klitschkos.
With that matter attended to,
Purrity is a hard puncher, at least as hard as Briggs IMO. Sanders hit harder than Briggs does and that's pretty much a fact. Same with Peter. Briggs has decent power but it's way overhyped. He hurt Lewos early and then seemed unable to put a dent in his chin when he caught him later on. Briggs has good but not great power. He's a Rahman level hitter.Comment

Wlad is more recognized than Briggs but the realistic possiblity of both knocking each other out is so obvious. So indeed it's a 50/50 chance for both.

Agreed! Both men can punch, also both men can easily get hurt.Originally posted by psychopathWlad is more recognized than Briggs but the realistic possiblity of both knocking each other out is so obvious. So indeed it's a 50/50 chance for both.

Difference is, Wlad has skills that Briggs doesn't have, Wlad has better stamina, and Wlad is more intelligent.Comment
