GGG has ducked Andrade 3 times, why does he always get a pass?

Andrade is a nobody and no one owes him a fight. Not Canelo, not Golovkin, not anyone that is a name in the sport.


Sergio Martinez had words with Chavez Jr, but found himself in a position where he was too dangerous but not a draw when he won the interim title at 154. Did he fight nobodies and complain all day, a la Vanes Martirosyan?

No, he moved up in weight and fought the most dangerous dude in the division. Then fought the champ. Then got a string of KOs and built his brand.

When the Chavez Jr fight was finally made, Martinez was doing virtually the same numbers on HBO as Chavez Jr was. He made himself a star and earned that shot.

Andrade isn’t going to do any of that. He’s a nobody and acts like one. He’ll make a lot of money off DAZN, fight no one, and when he retires it will be like he was never here.

i tend to agree with you...neither golovkin or canelo owe andrade a fight....

andrade is 32 and still doesnt have a signature win....not even a chenko/jacobs level win......

my point is...if one of them should fight andrade its golovkin first....if andrade could do something noteworthy over the next two years i think canelo should/would fight him.....but hes still fighting luke keelers of the world in front of 4k people.....

I said it many times. Jermall Charlo and Andrade should fight each other, winner would have a big chance to fight Canelo or GGG.

Canelo also had no intention fighting Andrade, and they were together in 2 weight classes.

i agree...both charlo and andrade do need to do something to seperate themselves and make themselves stand out ....neither have a notable/signature win even on the jacobs/chenko level yet....

i believe canelo would fight either of them if either of them would do something notable in the next two years....andrade is still fighting keelers in front of 4k....charlo aint doing much better.....they need to make themselves viable....

fighting each other though is a tough one...charlo aint likely to fight on DAZN...and i doubt hearn is gonna bring andrade off DAZN

Both sides confirmed there were talks for Canelo vs Andrade for September last year. Would have satisfied the IBF mandatory as a unification would have priority.
Unfortunately DAZN was trying to force a GGG trilogy so they said they wouldn’t approve Andrade as an opponent. Once Chenko priced himself out and the IBF stripped him getting all the middleweight titles was no longer on the table so Canelo moved on to other challenges like beating the #1 guy two weight classes up.

Your man love interest Canelo ducked the same exact guys. He didn't graciously give up a belt. He ducked Dervy bigger than sh it. He also ducked Andrade and gave up his regular date just to fight 5 to 1 underdog washed up and payed off Kovalev. If GGG is triple duck then Canelo must be super duck. Canelo claimed he wanted all the belts at 160 but he continues to avoid Andrade, Dervy and Jermall like the plague will fighting lousy BJS at 168.
