Comments Thread For: Braekhus Says McCaskill Fight is Likely To Happen in July

Cecilia Braekhus wants to continue to tread new ground and break down more barriers as she talks to Chris Lloyd in the latest episode of Matchroom Boxing's Podcast The Lockdown Tapes'. Baekhus (36-0 9 KOs) has dominated the welterweight division for 11 years now, and should her proposed clash with Jessica McCaskill (8-2 3 KOs) go ahead when boxing returns, victory for the First Lady' will see the Norwegian sensation break Joe Louis record of 25 consecutive world title defenses, with the 38 year old's record stretching back to her first World title fight in her 11th pro outing in March 2009.

The greatest of all time right here, people.

She's about to notch her 26th consecutive unified title defense and her 18th win against a world champion opponent (McCaskill has two belts at 140).

Her last three fights were all incredible performances against legit world champions.

Erica Farias is likely headed to the hall of fame and Anahi Sanchez is a respected champion in her own right. McCaskill won two absolute wars with Farias and she outclassed Sanchez, unifying two belts along the way.

McCaskill's losses were a robbery in her second fight and a competitive fight against Katie Taylor, and she's improving leaps and bounds every fight.

Every topic about women's boxing you have to show your lack of knowledge. Anyone who watches women's boxing can tell you McCaskill is legit.

Was it not you who criticized the record of Amanda Serrano's opponents?

Amanda Serrano has zero wins the quality of Jessica McCaskill's third best win.
