Yeh, that is why all those 90s heavyweights looked so muscular ( except Foreman). They were probably all on PED-s.

Actually the roids Bonds took improved his vision where the ball slowed down so to speak. I am not making this up. I believe it's called the clear. That was why he was able to hit the bad pitches they threw at him. Watch the Expose they did on HBO. It's explained very clearly
As far as Fields is concerned, the roids(and we all know he took plenty) allowed him to train harder and longer with faster recovery, hence better endurance. The roids packed on more muscle for strength and power. Roids are rampant in hockey you'd never know it based on little upper body bulk on these guys but the deal is recovery from ridiculous cardio and injury.
The man is a cheat big time. He'll have to confess to the Lord one day about it.Comment

I’ve had this talk before and u are right. Roids do help with recovery in ur muscles, letting you get back to another cardio session sooner. But that also means it’s the extra cardio sessions ur doing that’s increasing ur endurance. Ur still putting in the extra work, but the gear is allowing u to do that. Without taking advantage of that, the extra muscle will slow u down. I’ve read of the cream and the clear, but still find it hard to get straight answers.
It makes us appreciate Muhammad Ali even more because he was able to do all those things just on pure talent training and God given ability. No roids. They all need to bow down to THE KING!Comment

You're right. The juice alone doesn't do it otherwise all we would need is "muscle in a pill" and everyone would look like Lee Haney without picking up a weight. It's all about putting in all the extra hard work, BUT the juice enables one to do that. All these top level athletes work there sses off its just not fair when some go that route and it enables them to take the extra punishment in a fight and it doesn't slow them down, or find that extra something in the championship rounds when it matters most, or find that extra something in a close rd and finish the round strong against a tired opponent because of the juice. Or land the magic punch when you're about to be KO'd.
