We could do it on here. Just get a good group of solid guys to talk things over then set up a poll and vote on it. Not that hard.
Call it something cool like the Heavy Hitters Boxing Fans Union.Comment

Joshua vs Whyte was 5 years ago and Whyte and Whyte has some quality wins since then so he definitely deserves another title shot. Also, I'd love to see Joshua vs Fury next. However, there is 0 chance of that fight happening this year so Joshua should fight the best available opponent and that will likely be Usyk or WhyteComment

Thats interesting idea .,it would be great thing any idea how to organize it in a way that will reach most fans?We should not reward them with our hard-earned money when they do things like that. Especially in these troubled times.
There needs to be a boxing fans union where intelligent followers of the sport get together to discuss which fights are worth spending money on. They can then give a union recommendation of thumbs up or thumbs down for each major fight card.
Just to serve as a guide and as a voice for the paying boxing fan.
Im in better position cuse in poland many big fights are on national TV , and other are on channels i already pay to watch soccer/footballComment

For me there's nothing for Joshua to face Whyte at this time. There's nothing to fight Pulev either but it is what it is while Fury and Wilder finish dancing with each other. Here's hoping that a unification fight with whoever is scheduled for the end of the year/early next year pending...Joshua vs Whyte was 5 years ago and Whyte and Whyte has some quality wins since then so he definitely deserves another title shot. People love running saga's and dragged out soap operas but a unification has to happen soon in the HW division imo.Comment

Whyte was mentioned fighting in a car park, last I heard. Cheap too, from the sound of it. Like he'll do it for fun.Comment

Exactly this!Hearn is an idiot if he wastes an entire year of Joshua's prime having him fight once against a journeyman like Pulev. He should put the Pulev fight on behind closed doors by late July or early August then get Joshua a real fight vs someone like Whyte or Usyk in DecemberComment

Sounds like a nice idea but that's all it will ever be. You must be an idealist because this is a totally unrealistic fantasy that will never happen. Promoters and pro boxers know when fans aren't happy with certain matchups or other matchups being avoided. Do they care? Hell no. As long as there is a bankable star like AJ involved, they know the docile masses will line up in droves. Until people actually stop paying for PPV and tickets for mismatches, nothing will change. There needs to be a boxing fans union where intelligent followers of the sport get together to discuss which fights are worth spending money on. Do you actual think a "fan union" which makes recommendations based on whether they approve of a specific matchup or not will hold any ground whatsoever? Boxing is as crooked as sports come and the institutions that are in place already including the rules and regulations of the sport and the criteria for judging is already corrupted. No chance in hell any comission or promotional entity is going to listen to some sort of fan union.Comment

If the fan union maintains integrity, constantly stays on the promoters' asses, and picks up steam on social media you never know what can happen.Sounds like a nice idea but that's all it will ever be. At the end of the day it is the fans' money and viewership that makes boxing a viable business. We are the customers.
Nothing is ever going to change if you just sit back and accept corruption.
