He is right about Klitschko. I'm surprised he doesn't understand why Klitschko retired. Someone like Klitschko can only perform and win at the highest level. If he can't then he won't. Klitschko won't reduce himself to Ray Jones or Hopkins of this world. Same will be GGG - he won't fight on a b-level knowing that the doors to the creme de la creme of the division are forever closed.

With the lack of quality in the HW division, I wouldnt be surprised to see Klitch knock a few out. Highly doubt anything in that division..

Chisora is that dumb he would be one of fighters on his own list...

I think he can still beat some of the top 15-20 guys. Especially with the jab and grab style. If he didn’t fight it out with Joshua I think he would have beaten him. He must be like 43 now, still training with Usyk, probably can beat someone like christian Hammer.

That Klitschko lead left hook looked very obvious against aj and he didn't throw many right hands.

Unlike The Mayweather types, Klitschko has a high IQ and doesn’t need boxing. He has too much class to embarrass himself like many American fighters of the past who had nothing else besides boxing.

The reason why he retired was because he put his absolute heart and soul into the prep for the AJ fight and he came through that camp injury free and in tremendous shape.

I remember seeing him on the scales at the weigh in and looking at his body language. He looked in amazing shape and had that air of confidence that victory was assured, despite the UK hype train going into overdrive.

Obviously he ended up coming 2nd and can imagine his rationale being, 'well I can't improve upon that prep and given my age, wear and tear plus the fact AJ seems to be improving what are my chances realistically of winning the rematch? And is that chance worth all the sacrifice and hard work in prep?'

He made his decision and most agree. The thing with Wladimir is he only ever wanted to be a Champion/belt holder. He never had any intentions of having the kind of career Chisora has had. That's why he retired. He knew in his heart his ambitions to be number 1 again were KO'd with him.

But, what a performance to go out on - credit it to him, deserved his round of applause at the end.

The ref stopped the AJ fight at a bad time because Wlad was doing well at that point, not many of those punches were landing and AJ was likely going to be punched out. Once again helped by the ref.
