I'm in agreement but I think its more to do with the term exhibition..

Other sports exhibitions are friendly, fun atmosphere where fans get to see legends of yesteryear trundle along showcasing skills within that sport.

Can that happen in Boxing? Esp with 2 guys with history and one in particular known to be a live wire. I think its more to do with they don't wanna see someone get hurt..

Ultimately they are grown adults who can make thee own decisions so if they wanna do it then do it.. it's a choice if people wanna tune in...

I don't think Tyson's fights vs Williams or Mcbride can be described as embarrassing. The Williams fight was exciting as Tyson was putting a beating on William's before the knee injury, which was the same injury which effected him in his fight against Mcbride.

Holyfield during the end of his career, offensively was not dangerous 'His offense suffered more than Mike Tyson's, to the point where smaller fighters such as James Toney where plowing forward against him arrogantly'. Not at any stage of his career, where fighters just plowing forward against Mike Tyson arrogantly, fighters where always apprehensive of his offense.

Note: But right now as we speak, I am under no illusion. If both of these guys fight, it should just be a 4- 6 round exhibition 'Nothing too serious'.
I thought Holyfield looked excellent at the end of his career, in his last 4-5 fights. I was very impressed in the Valuev fight where he showed what pro boxing skills looked like vs a giant and easily outboxed Valuev, but ultimately was a victim of homecooking. Yes, homecooking, don’t care if it was in Austria with non-Russian judges, still homecooking. It was a clear boxing clinic for Holyfield.

When I think about the best 12 round boxing performances of the year 2000s, Holyfield vs Valuev comes to mind.

Valuev might not be much of a pro boxer, but he was still a pro boxer at the top level with a decent resume. His sheer size made him difficult to box. I was in awe of the way Holyfield made it look so easy to beat him, at his age. It’s a shame he was robbed of that win and of winning a major title at 46. Boxing can really suck my ass for doing The Real Deal like that.

Not cool. Two young boxers died last year. Athletic commission say something yet?

"If it happens, then that's no problem. The thing is, he was doing something and I was doing something. When I told people about it, they saw me working out and they kind of put two and two together. They must be coming together to do this like this. But the fact of the matter is, I don't mind if we do do something like this."

Not really, it was all about Tyson going viral with that clip.

As long as it’s an exhibition against another veteran then cool, I remembered how terrible Holyfield looked in his last fight against the guys from Ba*****, it was so terrible to see Williams walking the ghost of Holyfield down.
