He does have to prove when it comes to Hatton! He has to prove he can beat him. PBF said he could beat Hatton, but that is an opinion, it is not proof!

I would agree that PBFs resum has the edge. But as for worthy challengers out there Hatton is at the top of the list. His resume compares favourably.

Why cant Hatton compete? He has competed well with anyone he has ever fought. He competed with Kostya and Castillo and wasnt out of his depth. You might argue that PBF is better than those 2. Well...maybe he is. He will have to prove that, because at this minute we dont know.
