Comments Thread For: Reynoso Explains That He Was Very Firm With Andy Ruiz About Working Hard

Eddy Reynoso explained that he was very firm in his first conversation with former unified heavyweight champion Andy Ruiz. Earlier this month, it was made official that Reynoso had agreed to become the head trainer of Ruiz. In June 2019, Ruiz pulled off a massive upset when he dropped Anthony Joshua four times to secure a seven round stoppage to capture the WBO, WBA, IBF, IBO heavyweight titles at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Reynoso needs to stay on fatty and make sure he's about this life. I hope it works out, it could end up being a real good pairing

Andy has a bad habit. Gluttony. I'm pretty damn sure his mind gets a dopamine fix just thinking about a luxury buffet. With his money he should hire a chef who knows how to make delicious but healthy food.

Only 2 outcomes I expect Either Ruiz gets with the program or Eddy walks out on him. Anything else will surprise me

I’m very curious about this pairing. Ruiz Jr has skills and we know Reynoso has very good training skills. It’s really up to Ruiz Jr. Somehow, I see this going well early on, for a few fights, and then Reynoso resigning.

Ruiz kept talking about how he wanted to look like the Mexican AJ after his win then ended up coming in even heavier.
This guy is a flash in the pan. He's not a real champion. He cashed in & cashed out.
Next thing you know he balloons up even more & blames it on depression.
