Are You Turned Off By a Fighter's KO Ratio?

Meaning if a fighter has a low KO ratio, are you less inclined to watch them?

Personally, I feel if they're aggressive fighters who give their all (e.g. Wayne McCullough) it makes up for it to an extent, but for the most part, I avoid watching them, as they tend to be snoozefests.

I tend to watch everyone because I’m an addict but I definitely watch with less intrigue. Unless he is showing exceptional speed, intelligence, toughness, something that tells me he can beat an elite all around fighter then I’m not sitting there glued to the set in full blown observation mode. Just sort of watching and occasionally checking on whatever.

If he is high level and doesnt fight overmatched opponents, then no.

But if two domestic opponents are matched and both have less than a 15% KOpercentage then yes.

No. I'll watch him fight and then decide if I want to watch him again. Some boxers with a low kO ratio hit hard, fight well, and are great to watch.

Not really, Josh Warrington is a good example of a fight fighter with a low KO ratio yet has an exciting style.

I DO like seeing exciting KO wins but a KO rate has no bearing on whether or not I'm interested in a fight. I'm just as happy to see a fight go to decision. The judges can't always be trusted so a KO is more decisive but as long as the judges aren't dirty then a decision is fine by me

I don't mind either way . I like watching technical boxers . And even these guys with minimal kos pull the odd tko out of their hat . But I don't mind if a ko doesn't happen . I don't think any true fan does although it definately is nice seeing a savage ko or stoppage . Let's be real thats one of the main intrigues of watching a fight . Most guys with low ko percentages have pretty good skills if they are on the higher level they need to, or have a very high work rate which can make things exciting .
