He comes from a family ***ish accountants, of course he runs a good business. I find it interesting that Dana is not the first to say Hearn is good to deal with, he gets massive amounts of shade but a lot of what he says makes sense.

Wow! Are articles like this even allowed on BoxingScene? Dana is praising him, not criticizing.

Hearn is a good promoter overall, but not sure he's fixed any of the problems boxing has in the years he's been doing big fights. Doubt that any one promoter can tbh, but if anyone can it won't be Eddie. The Ryder-Smith scorecards were a recent low point, the Jacobs-Chavez stuff as well.

Want to fix boxing? Here it is:

            1 division 1 champ

Move to 11 or 13 rounds

***Changing rounds to odd numbers will also influence bad judging.

            Increase penalties for negative judging

Not to mention the youtube circus sideshow main events. That IS NOT good for the sport. That's ridiculing fighters who spent their whole lives to get in that position without an opportunity then these clowns do because they can piss people off on youtube.

You know what your problem is Dana? Its that you're too ****** to understand what 'Prize-fighting' is all about. Boxers fight for themselves, not a fight-league or the sport. Do you think Eddie Hearn is going to put his interest aside for the greater good? Get real pal!

Yeah, you are right. Dana is always negotiating the best purses for his cage-fighters with rival promoters. I'm sure he will come into boxing and take Bob Arum to school.
