Marquez did two things Morales didn’t

Give manny a boxing lesson and winning 9 rounds in a row

Brutally knocking manny out

Morales was the first to beat the good manny, but Erik went life & death with him

Plus Marquez didn’t get knocked out bad by manny

Eric was just about done fighting Manny he lost to Raheem and Barrera right before, actually in 6 fights he lost 5 and the only one he won was besting Manny, Eric was shot .

I thought Marquez won all 4 fights. The first fight going to pac was fine cuz a 10-6 round is a hard deficit to overcome, but aside from that round, Marquez outboxed pac the majority of the fight. The 2nd was close, but I thought Marquez edged it...but again, it was reasonably close enough to go the other way. The 3rd fight I have a hard time seeing it for pac...I thought Marquez won won that one more clear than the first 2.

Agreed completely regarding all 4 fights.

I think Marquez had the better career, he went up more in weight. But head to head Morales is a nightmare match up for Marquez. All round great fighter el terrible, plus he was tall, long, and a great jabber...all the things Marquez struggles with.
