You add "Narrowly" to discredit him from those wins, and that doesn't fly.

Point is he won those fights. Period.

Both share a win over Judah, but those title wins at 147 and 154 trump anything else Baldomir did.

There is no way you or anyone else can twist things into saying Baldomir has the better resume than Spinks.
Both of those wins were by narrow decision.. it's not like he won by a 'landslide' or anything..

And i'm not saying 'better', i'm saying closer to equal than you think. The only reason you don't agree is because you knew who Cory Spinks was 5 years ago, not who Carlos Baldomir was.. And just because you just now know who Baldomir is, doesn't mean you can discredit either fighter's past experiences.

If Floyd officially announces his fighting Spinks, he still won't get that "P4P" respect from me until next year i'm afraid.. because he should be just as heavily favored 'betting wise' against Spink as any of his past couple opponents (having a belt doesn't change those). And as i said somewhere else, this is nothing close to PPV worthy. It makes me wonder how HBO will be able to promote this...

"Order now! Watch the guy that beat Zab Judah earlier this year, face the man who got knocked out by Zab just a year earlier than that!! Get it now, it's only $49.95!!! Expect a WAR!!"

No, I was comparing their resumes, and stated Spinks' is clearly better.

If you want to discredit "Narrowly" winning fights, you're taking away from Baldomir's win over Judah. It was narrow in itself.

Spinks has the better resume than Baldomir. That's a fact.

i dont hate spinks, he's a crafty boxer... but he has no chance to beat floyd.... i think baldy, tony and even hatton may have a better chance than spinks does...
