After nearly 60 fights I’d hope so...

naw man, he's too great to ever reach his true peak. We would die to look at it, like the opening of the Ark of the Covenant

He is at his peak. He will peak even more with the right judges.

Canelo's counter reflex with the right reminds me of Toney in the pocket. Remember when Toney would fancy RJJ's combo or Barkley with the right? One thing I love about Canelo's pull countering is he puts WAY MORE WEIGHT and slingshot as of late. What's even better is Canelo's trademark pull uppercut. superbad!

I believe physically he is at his peak.
As he reaches his late 20’s and 30’s inevitably his physical skills will naturally decline.
I believe the mental side of boxing he still has some growth. He’s a high iq fighter and takes his craft seriously so I think he will still improve.
I would say 29-32 he will be at his peak overall.

Clearly. He has been at his peak for years now. It's not like he has been getting better recently.

He's probably found the right pacing for his fights from now on. He doesn't need to throw a ton of punches. I think the weight jumping has made him become more economical in his approach. He's definitely at the peak or even starting to look down from its zenith. I think physically we'll start to see some sort of decline in the not too far future.

Post Floyd was economical because defensive IQ was ultra elite in counter punching, and he let his opponents come to him and feed off mistakes to score points. Canelo’s transitioning to pure defensive moves and counterattacking as well. Like Floyd, it sets the standard for whom needs to strike first. If you really want to beat Canelo you have to go on an onslaught because it’s still hard to land on him.
