Hatred of boxers usually is directly tied to success. When a fighter starts getting negative stuff written about him, he should consider him self blessed because he has reached the major leagues. Nobody outside of Toledo writes about the Mud Hens but everyone everywhere writes about the New York Yankees.

The Toronto Maple Leafs have been one of the worst teams in the NHL for 50 years. Their stories still generate the most traffic by far. Has to do with the population of Toronto but mostly the delusional fan base drumming up hatred from every other fan base in the league.
