Whyte is the obvious choice at HW. Regis & Loma would be my picks in lighter division.
Ive seen him training with Page, he's a decent grappler on the feet by the looks of it.But it's levels aint it? Who made Bellew an MMA expert anyway?

Like that one ****** fk...... cant think of his name, but he faught Mercer, and actually tried to box with him. Lol I'm sitting there watching it, thinking, how fking ****** are you??

        Smh.

At the same time though, if the boxer has learned some serious take down defence, then he has a chance at the top.

Theres some variables going on here, like take down defence, (boxer), take down ability, (MMA fighter), stamina of the MMA fighter, because shooting in on someone, takes a lot of energy, and ability to finish the boxer if he gets him down.

Get someone like Mark Coleman, from years ago, and they'll Maurice Smith the MMA fighter.
Maurice Smith was a kickboxer and very good, Whyte had 1 fight against a bum Francis who wreck him even in a boxing fight with mma gloves. He is not technical but good enough

Lol of course in Bellews mind the only 3 people capable of transitioning into MMA are all from England and one of them is his himself haha. Can't believe this dude said Chisora and then to top it off included himself his fatass was getting rag dolled by Adonis Stevenson I don't think he would even last against someone like Darren Till if he could even make 185 much less someone like Jon Coke Jones.

In my opinion the boxers that can transition the easiest are

            1. Lomachenko - background in judo and wrestling
            2. Terence Crawford - background in wrestling
            3. Dillian Whyte - Former kick boxer and has had 1 MMA fight

There are several others more qualified than the picks he gave you can also throw Chris Algieri former kickboxing champion in the mix Caleb Plant is also a 5x kickboxing champion. Those are just the active fighters too there are several other fighters in recent years that could have possibly made a transition as well.

Vic Darchinyan is good at wrestling his father was the Armenian Olympic wrestling coach. Andre Berto knows some BJJ and i'm sure other aspects of MMA because his father was a mma fighter and so are his brothers. Kermit Cintron was a great wrestler and had a big punch in his prime although he was a disappointment because he was mentally weak but he was a great athlete regardless. I heard O'Neill Bell was a good high school wrestler would have been interesting to see him compete with the light heavy's of UFC during his prime. Chris John was a part of the Indonesian wushu team which is a combination of boxing, kickboxing, and grappling. The Klitschko brothers were kickboxers before switching to straight boxing also so there has been plenty of fighters who could have stood a chance. I know these guys are retired but so are Haye and Bellew so it's just examples.

Wasn't aware David Haye knew BJJ and was a purple belt if so then I would give him a shot too because he was athletic and had a good punch.

In the end unless the money is right there is no point for any of the fighters I mentioned to go fight for the UFC they all make more money in boxing and would stand a chance at losing in MMA so it would be a gamble.

More proof that some high level boxers do not understand the hybrid skills needed for high level MMA.

I knew he'd pick Whyte, surprised he didn't name AJ. All in all it was expected he'd pick HWs because the HW division in MMA/UFC is the most talentless division by far. All the talent is from 135-170 for the most part.
