If you can’t understand that you are just being biased to only gggs capricious demands from an ASide fighter. As far as the money generated from Chavez JR fight do the math bro it’s also a no brainer. 1 million ppv buys and 7 million paid to JR with no PPV upside VS The ggg fight @ 1.3 million ppv buys with 25 percent of purse and ppv going to Golovkin! He most likely made more off Chavez JR because he paid him way less. And far as the ducking is concerned it seems like most ppl were demanding Canelo to fight GGG on gggs terms and they forget that from the moment Canelo beat Cotto he was already negotiating with GGG and 3 fights later they actually fought. That like a very quik marination to me, understand that both fighters had the power to accept the fight sooner but opted to keep negotiating. Yes Canelo vacated in between all that but that was exactly the same situation as GGG vacating the IBF for derachenko it was all about business. Why TF would Canelo share 40 percent of the purse with ggg? Just cuz ggg had the silver strap and the wbc backing him up. Had he given ggg 40 percent of that and not to mention fighting a bigger guy at the full weight that he wasn’t comfortable at yet... why would the ASide ever do that and don’t tell me Pac did it because he drained the F out of everyone everytime. Chavez fight made 1000 percent sense, he beat TF out of JR was able to gain confidence and made about 35 million and guess what? Announced that the ggg fight was next! Golovkin you are next my friend!
Wow Johnny boy a post I can respect. You should post like this more often.

chuck, I have said the exact same thing on MULTIPLE occasions

the only thing I disagree with in John's post... is the WBC mandated split was 45% to Golovkin, not 40%

other than that, the facts never changed from my post to his

I told you the exact same thing

Canelo wanted that fight on his terms

        and...

Golovkin wanted that fight on his terms
you are correct when you say Canelo could have taken that fight whenever he wanted... the problem for you is, Golovkin could also have taken that fight whenever he wanted... and he chose not to

if you are going to hurl blame... then it is far more understandable for the A-side fighter to refuse to hand the B-side fighter any kind of advantage... than it is for the distinct B-side fighter to totally refuse to negotiate with the A-side... ESPECIALLY on weight, considering all that "anyone from 154-168" bullshyt... just like I said here...

why would a superstar hand a undeserved hypejob any kind of advantage?
come on man... John and I said nothing different

Golovkin could have taken that fight, but he CHOSE not to... just like all those other fights... and it is absurd to blame Canelo for Golovkin losing them as well

it is not everyone else's fault EXCEPT for Golovkin... the guy who keeps saying no LMAO

Oh I have said it plenty of times that they are both to blame however what I can’t seem to understand is I can blame GGG for his mistakes and I call him on his BS too but lots of Conelo fanboys are completely blinded by their bias.
I really don’t care to see a third fight it’s pointless. If I were DAZN I would give GGG a very short list of fights to choose from or make him kick rocks
