If you think Wilder has more technical ability than Charles Martin...then you need to switch to watching table tennis or something. There’s a reason Wilder is widely known as a one-trick pony...because he’s literally dog shyt in every other aspect. Having phenomenal power does not, in any way, shape or form, mean a guy has talent.
And no, fighters becoming shot after a lacklustre loss, 18 months without stepping in the ring for a fight with three training camps in between is not how it works at all. A 39/40 year old Klitschko was no different than a 41 year old Klitschko, stop being silly. What makes Wilder such a good win? Because he beat one world ranked top ten guy? Ortiz, who he struggled terribly with twice? No. The only thing that makes that a decent win is the belt he held and defended against below par opposition.
Povetkin, Parker and even Takam are better named opponents than Wilder, but that’s just a subjective opinion. The facts, however, can’t be argued whichever way you try to look at it; AJ has beat more world ranked (not sanctioning body ranked. Independently ranked) top ten opposition than Fury and Wilder combined. That is what decides rankings. Not...”oh but he has one loss and the other guy is more skilled”.
And come on...a 300lb guy that didn’t train would be gassed out within 6 rounds. Funny coincidence how Ruiz said he was gonna go in heavy, even before he started training, then claims he didn’t train and put on too much weight when he loses lol there’s a couple of his camp mates that said the “I didn’t train” excuse was absolute bullshyt.
1.) AJ
2.) Fury
3.) Anybody but Wilder
