Comments Thread For: White, Espinoza Squabble Over Non-Disparagement Clause In UFC Contract

Dana White and Stephen Espinoza clearly won't have any issue practicing social distancing when it comes to their own contentious relationship. The presidents of Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and Showtime Sports, respectively, once again found themselves at odds with one another, this time surrounding Saturday's presentation of UFC 249. The mixed martial arts (MMA) card was the first sporting event to take place in the United States since the first signs of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic began to escalate worldwide in mid-March.

So in other words Espinoza wasn't lying and now White has to try to do some damage control

        Wait a second...

"ViacomCBS, the parent company of Showtime (and BoxingScene.com), announced in a recent shareholders conference call its intention to explore the possibility of Showtime boxing and Bellator MMA shows to air live from a CBS lot in Studio City, California. The network was the last to air a live boxing event from the United States, which came with its March 13 presentation of ShoBox to the backdrop of a crowdless venue in Hinckley, Minnesota."

Isn't Belator on DAZN? (I could be wrong. I hate MMA)

I believe they have a contract to stream the content but Viacom owns Bellator.

All of these dudes are slimeballs but some are slimier than others. White has some weird love/hate relationship with boxing. I think he desperately wants to build some kind of position in boxing and it pisses him off that he hasn't been able to get a foothold in the sport.

Dana White vs Espinoza, make it happen.

Always there are a bickering between those two. Nothing new here, I fell for the click bait.

Sniveling little weasel Espinoza. Showtime boxing is about to become extinct, along with his legacy.

                  Dana actually gets stuff done.

Because the government has backed boxing into a corner while UFC is ignored.
