Very good interview.

Eubank is an interesting guy with an interesting life story.

He was London's best shoplifter in 1981, making 20x the average working wage at just 15 years old, running amok and absconding. Unbelievable story.

Interestingly, Eubank lost in the 1985 New York Golden Gloves semi-final at 156lb, and Benn lost in the 1985 London ABA semi-final at 156lb/71kg. How about that.

The guy who beat Eubank, Joseph Henry, turned pro with Anthony Logan out of Florida. They trained together.

The guy who beat Benn, Rod Douglas, Eubank sparred with at Thomas A Becket before Douglas turned pro (and got the better of Eubank).

“For the rematch, however, the guy was crying tears of anger on his way to the ring and snorting like a bull, which unnerved me in itself, and fought me that night like he should be in a straitjacket.” His description of collins cracked me up. Great interview though love his assessments of subtle movement’s and positioning. High iq stuff.

Collins looked hideously wild in that Eubank rematch haha, but it WORKED!

And yeah Eubank was about as skilled as they come.

Badly bruised ribs, winded a few times, a 1 inch long & half-inch deep laseration in his tongue, and Ronnie Davies had to wash him in the shower after because he couldn't raise his arms
