But what we GOT was Freddy instead of knives using spoons???

And Jason having a Spatula that he slaps the camp counselors with it off his back foot???

NO trademark bodywork... NO relentless pipe-bursting pressure...

... none of that " stand and fight like a Mexican " nonsense

And that was why he got LAUGHED at and CLOWNED by almost ALL boxers and Trainers.

Ohhh and Judges. Who even Abel Sanchez said did a good job.

GGG's Own TRAINER knows the game!!!

How many times have you seen someone believe they WON a fight run from a ring CRYING???

Don't forget Abel said GGG was LOSING like 2 rounds before the loss...

Good stuff as always and here is another good boxing mind on GGG.

"Golovkin has fought the wrong way in BOTH fights against Canelo, and doesn’t seem to be able to grasp what he needs to do for him to beat the Mexican star. It’s clear how Golovkin needs to fight Canelo, but he doesn’t seem to have the engine or the willingness to endure the pain of fighting the right way."

"To beat Canelo, Golovkin must fight the way Marvin Hagler used to. That means attack nonstop. What we’ve been seeing from Golovkin is him staying on the outside, throwing jabs instead of going after Canelo the way someone like Hagler would have done. Hagler would have been relentless against Canelo and made him work hard every second. Golovkin hasn’t done that. He’s fought conservatively, and not surprisingly, he’s failed to beat Canelo." - Sergio Mora

    GREAT advice!!!

Although it doesn't lessen my opinion of golovkin as a fan (far as I'm concerned any style is as good as the results it produces and FWIW I also consider Canelo to be a fundamentally conservative fighter), I've expressed the opinion of him for years that Golovkin is essentially a methodical, conservative fighter by temperment and training rather than the explosive KO machine he's often made out. The KOs came because he is highly skilled technician and because the high pressure, high volume and heavy hands combine to gradually wear opponents down whilst Golovkin himself will take few risks to land a killer shot unless he's already got an opponent to the point where they ain't really got much left.

Difficulty is I ain't sure he can get away from that mentality and I think his only shot at beating Canelo now is by a KO which has no chance of coming unless he's willing and able to throw caution to the wind... it'd probably be suicidal and would most likely end up with him getting stopped himself, but it's also pretty much his only shot at the W so what are the choices? His engine definitely isn't what it was in his early 30s as is to be expected, and his ability to simply outwork opponents was always a part of his game but he has to be able to adapt to the changes in his body. For most aging fighters that means fighting smarter, but against the younger, quicker Canelo (who has his own wealth of ring experience to draw on) I just can't see any way fighting smarter or veteran tricks benefits him. He just needs to throw the kitchen sink and hope it's enough.
100% agree with everything u, Breadman, Mora said about ggg.

And also he has no choice to change his game up a lil to protect him long term for retirement

Sht I forgot about Molina?? NM he should have a loss.
