People think because Manny went to 147lbs and has been there for awhile that he is natural there. He has never been natural there. He looks smaller than all his opponents. His power went down tremendously. He stopped over hill Oscar and the accumulation of punishment had Bayless stop the Cotto fight. He never had the 1 punch power as he had at 140lbs and down.

In fact, Manny's weigh-in for fight nights at 147lbs hasn't been much different than when he campaigned at 130lbs... He's done most of his WW body of work off pure heart, skill and will power. All of which roids could never make up for.

Steroids have limitations. They can make one bigger and stronger, but they can't make one faster or more skilled. Juice or not, Manny is one of the greats of the sport. If steroids could have made his brittle hands like granite, Paulie would have been a juice junkie.
