Floyd retired the richest boxer in history with a resume which is head and shoulders above anyone else in the modern era except Pacquiao, but without Pacs losses.

I wouldn't be too unhappy either.

Once a cheap shot artist always a cheap sot artist.
Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs Arturo Gatti, June 25, 2005: Late in the first round, Mayweather moved in and put his forearm on the back of Gatti’s neck as Gatti ducked, initiating a clinch. Referee Earl Morton clearly commanded, “Stop punching.” Mayweather ignored him and landed a right and a hard left as Gatti straightened up. When Gatti turned to the referee to complain, Mayweather stepped in and decked Arturo with a left hook. Gatti wasn’t even looking at Mayweather at the time. The referee ruled it a legitimate knockdown.
      Mayweather stopped Gatti in six.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs Victor Ortiz, Sept. 17, 2011: Ortiz inflicted a blatant headbutt on Mayweather near the end of the fourth round, leading to an immediate timeout as referee Joe Cortez deducted a point. before the point deduction Cortez should have ordered Floyd to a neutral corner (but he did not and if he did Floyd did not stay in the corner) A contrite Ortiz, with his hands down and not realizing Cortez had signaled for the fight to resume, attempted to apologize to the champion when Mayweather, with his hands on Ortiz’s shoulders and nodding as if to accept the apology, abruptly cold-****ed Ortiz with a left hook and then an overhand right, ending the bout.

TBE should be TBCAE (The best cheap shot artist ever).

I was never really impressed with Bradley as a fighter. He beat some good guys but he never had a fight that made me say “wow I need to see this guy fight again”. I thought he lost to Pacquiao all 3 times, Marquez and some people even had him losing to Provodnikov (A ESPN fighter). I’m not saying he was a bum he was very good don’t get me wrong but even in the fights that he won he never looked great to me.

At least with guys like Mosley, Cotto, Canelo, Maidana they were coming off impressive performances and people genuinely thought they might win. Bradley would’ve matched up horribly against Floyd and probably would’ve lost 10/11 of 12 rounds. Good little fighter but he signed with Top Rank for a reason. He knew he would’ve got washed by Money May and chose to fight Pacquiao instead. Who beat him all 3 times even though they were good competitive fights.

Same reason he retired early and didn’t take on the likes of Spence/Porter/Brook or move up to 154. He was a solid tough fighter but was nothing special in my opinion.

I was at the Floyd vs Gatti fight
And I can say definitely that was a low blow from Floyd
As a Gatti fan , I can actually say there was no need for Floyd to pull that chit
That’s why many people are not infatuated with Floyd
