You can be “slippery” with proper matchmaking. The fact that BJS’ pedigree couldn’t stop or win a UD over Eubank or Lee shows much. When BJS faces Canelo he’ll drop all previous showboating slippage and freeze up

I doubt you have even seen film or even know much about most of the all time great boxers so who are you to place Canelo number 2 of all the great boxers of history? Canelo is good but he has not conquered the world. Mayweather schooled him and most viewers think 36 year old GGG beat him twice and clearly beat him in the first fight. Yes he was drained 2 pounds for Mayweather but would he have won at the full 154? Most don't think so. No proof at all Mayweather was on roids for Canelo. He has never failed any drug test in his long career. Canelo was a 5 to 1 betting favorite to beat washed up old Kovalev and that is not world conquest. Let him fight Beterbiev at 175, Bivol at 175 or 168 that Bivol challenged him at and if he beats them that would be impressive but he will never fight them. Canelo is very good but he has not cleaned out 160, 168 or 175. Far from it.

I know it sounds crazy but I agree that Canelo is past his best now and his body is kinda worn. It's not always about age. Canelo has been fighting all his life.

Maybe a couple more meaningless fights and retire.

But Lee was really good during his time and Eubank that’s the motivation problem of BJS. Many will be surprised when BJS does a Mayweather on Canelo.

Time to finish his old ass. Golden Boy wont let it happen but once that contract expires Haymon will lure Alvarez with money and have a younger fresher Plant or Benavidez finish him off either by stoppage or paid judges.

Lee got stopped by Vera and Chavez Jr. in his best times. If BJS comes on his game while Nelo comes C average then maybe BJS got a chance. “If” Canelo comes on his C game then BJS got a chance for maybe a SD.
