She's an individual. Most times a criminal will have been raised by good church going parents. Bad apples/spoiled kids are not always a reflection of their parents.

Those good church going people are good themselves but poor teachers. While their bad kids might not be reflective of who they are as an individual, it shows that they are incapable of passing on their traits in a way that sticks. Teaching is a skill that Mayweather doesn’t seem to possess.
