    Why should Pacquiao fight Crawford?

Crawford is just another carefully protected guy in his prime that takes no risks in his career.

Where are his fights with guys of his generation, like Thurman, Porter, Spence, Danny?

I don`t care about management excuses.

Pacquiao should fight Porter, Spence, Danny or Mikey. Those guys deserve it.

Mikey most definitely doesn't deserve it. Dude hasn't done jack **** at the weight manny has been at for over a decade.

Garcia and Porter would be fine as light touches.

Knowing how manny operates Spence could be next. manny likes guys in a vulnerable point before fighting them.

I’m all for Pacquiao fighting Spence instead of Crawford. As long as we’re unifying titles, I’m all for it.

As for Porter, Danny and Mikey, why do they deserve a shot at Pacquiao over Crawford?

Porter has lost to Thurman, Brook and Spence. Danny Garcia has lost to Porter and Thurman. Mikey Garcia got a shot at Spence and lost.

Crawford is a three division champion. He’s one of two active boxers to win an undisputed championship. He has a welterweight title because he beat the guy who won the title from Manny Pacquiao.

Fights involving Pacquiao, Crawford and Spence are the only fights at 147 to make.

Because manny is a very established welterweight

Crawford leaves much to be desired at WW.

He hasn't "earned" a fight with the WW big dog yet.

Let Crawford prove himself against Thurman or Spence first

Crawford hasn’t proven himself at welterweight?

He owns Manny Pacquiao’s last welterweight title. He knocked out the guy who beat Manny Pacquiao to win it.

He’s undefeated at welterweight and has knocked out everyone he’s fought.

Everyone he fought at welterweight had undefeated records except for one fighter. That one fighter is a former unified super lightweight champion who was undefeated in the weight class until he lost to Crawford.

And before he got to 147, Crawford was the undisputed champion at 140, the lineal champion at 135 and universally recognized as a top 5 p4p fighter.

He’s clearly earned a fight with Pacquiao.

Manny is proven, the best WWs atm are not proven, they have potential to be great but thats a punch away from being ordinary.

Having said that I think Manny is a live dog with any of the top guys , Crawford is little chinny more explosive but can be clipped, Errol is a more gruelling fight that doesnt suit Manny , same with Porter but TC Mikey and Danny are all very winnable fights so why not go for it.

Pac should fight Crawford because that's probably the most money he can make going out the door. Porter wouldn't pay as much and might give him a sustained beating that would affect his health. Spence might be out for another year, and it's not clear that's a better fight for him. Garcia would be for less money than any of the others, and he might still lose. Pac probably can't beat Crawford, but if the objective is to leave the ring with a big cheque and not be in a coma, that's the fight to take.

yeah if you wanna look at it all through rose colored glasses sure....but thats not how things usually go down around here

answer me this...why did he and arum keep mentioning porter before and after the mean machine fight...then when kenny porter said "call us" about a week after that fight they did a 180 and said hes not "on our radar"?

you can make up whatever excuse you want to for that....go ahead...its ok....but the reality is we know hes trying to fight kell brook next....brook was considered washed up by the pbc haters when spence was fighting him which was a few years ago now...

ive alwaysl liked bud and i still think hes great....but lets not go celebrating his accomplishments like hes so great
