You know who else has talked about fighting the top guys at WW? Khan. While all the others are ducking Spence, Khan talks wants Spence plus any top WW including Crawford whom he fought.

See what I mean? Talking about fighting the top guys means shït if you are getting beat up. Garcia is turning into Khan.

He will get beat by Crawford, Thurman or Porter.

Nobody at 135 and below can beat Mikey. Plenty of fights there to be had. He could have cleaned out all those guys and gone down an ATG.

I’d be hard pressed to think of any way that Garcia could keep up with the unrelenting pressure from a much larger man in Porter. At 140, lipinets gave Garcia all he could handle in terms of physicality.

Porter is too big and too active for a slow starter like Garcia to have success in picking his shots, nor does Garcia have the kind of jab to discipline a guy like porter. Probably ends in a late round stoppage by Porter. Good test to see if Garcia could hang with the top 5 at 147

He's trying too hard for history and legacy. you gotta know your limits though. He's not a real welter. Mikey is better technically, of course, but Shawn would probably bulldoze his ass.

This would actually be a fun and good fight. Reminds me of the bull and matador. Porter redefines what a come forward fighter means and Mikey has always played a great matador/counterpuncher. Not sure who I would take in that fight.

Mikey is tougher than what people give him credit for. I think he survives 12 rounds against Porter, but a dangerous fight. I’m pretty sure Porter’s father will be in Shawn’s ear saying, walk through this little guy, punish him, he can’t hurt you, etc..

Interesting fight; Porter is a relentless brawler, while Garcia is a highly skilled boxer-puncher. I think Mikey edges him.
