Why did Froch duck James DeGale?

Froch likes claiming he fought everyone but he didn't fight both Pavlik and GGG.

But the most obvious one is DeGale. Prime DeGale vs Froch would've been a great fight.

froch would hav3e loved a ggg fight at 168 and prob would have won too, ggg looks small for 168 i think and his style would not help, but who knows a prime ggg could hurt froch too, great fight

There was a demand for the fight in the UK during DeGale's hot streak. Froch had just come off two tough wins over Groves and maybe it was right for him to call it a day. There's always somebody that you retire before fighting. I think it would have been a really good fight at that time with Froch winning by late stoppage. DeGale sits on the ropes too much and Froch would have eventually beating him up there I think. I'll not call Froch out on not facing anybody as he backed down from no man. I still hated the early stoppage of him vs Groves 1 though. I had Groves 6-2 +KD 5 points up going into R9, and despite the decisive KO in the rematch, it doesn't make that right, Groves may well have still won the first fight, despite Froch having a great R9.

Froch vs GGG in 2014 or so would have been very interesting. Glovkin had quicker feet then than he does now, cut off the ring faster and has a better ring IQ than Froch. Punch power about the same, Golovkin slightly P4P, but Froch was the bigger man. A really 50-50 war that would have been. A definite fight of the year contender.

Difference between not fighting someone and ducking them. I’m not even a Froch fan but come on. Nowadays fans think every fight that didn’t happen was a duck, sometimes it just doesn’t happen or reason a,b or c. That’s not ducking. Ducking is when you do a Rid**** Bowe and throw the belt in the trash and basically do anything to avoid the fight.

Another example is Shane Mosley ducking Floyd in 2006? Do you want the fight? This guy is calling you out? And what did SSM say? He refused to answer the question and said he needed to take a vacation and get his tooth fixed. That’s ducking! Lol.

Froch hadnt fought in a year, wasnt planning to, so why would he fight DeGale?

He was going to be 38, is he a speical case when it came to ageing to be treated differently?

You reckon that DeChunky will be defending a world title at 38 in 2024? No didnt think so.

              U mean in fluttering panties?

Definitely, both guys would have given their all, i guess if i had to put money on it, i would put it on prime golovkin, a higher level guy than froch
