I don't rate Fury as many people do. He's a cerebral boxer that has Wlad on his resume and escape a rematch. Winning Wilder who is a very limited boxer in two fights is not enough. He's got to clean the division before he can be respected. Currently, he hasn't fought any top 5 in the last 5 years bar Wilder, who he wildered around.Comment

But Fury was never the true lineal champ as there isn't one anymore. When the line is broken, it is broken, it becomes two separate lines. The lineal champion has to OFFICIALLY retire. Not go on a temporary hiatus
Also, Wladimir Klitschko established himself as the lineal champion after Lennox Lewis reitred, beating several #2 contenders (Povetkin, Pulev) after #2 Vitali retired. Then Fury beat him. Simple as...
Lineal Champion is no longer a real thing as the line has been broken many times.
If you have to add caveats it looses all relevance.Last edited by Angeljuice; 05-05-2020, 01:30 PM.Comment

Oh I get it, your a child. That makes sense. So tell me, are Sefari, Schwartz and Wallin, good boxers? Is it ok to take steroids and then act like it doesn't matter later? Did Fury donate his entire purse from the first Wilder fight? If so, to what charity? Do you think he really had "mental illness" or was it a fake to make idiots like yourself look in another direction while the steroids thing was going on? Did you think his fight with Klitschko was an entertaining, fun to watch fight? Or was it an eyesore like how I saw it? Let's see if you will man up and answer these questions. I doubt itComment

You just need to do your research. It's part of boxing's 135 year history. The article I provided by Cliff Rold explains it in great detail. But Fury was never the true lineal champ as there isn't one anymore. When the line is broken, it is broken, it becomes two separate lines.

Parker went toe to toe with a fit , fully prepared version of ruiz. Something AJ couldn't do.
Parker beat takam, hughie fury, ruiz, dimitrenko, and been robbed via head butt against whyte.
Name any other fighter who's fought better opponents except for AJ ?Comment

Pretty pathetic win, dancing around a blob who didn't even train for the fight.
Hardly something to be proud of.
In terms of a war, he's losing as it's 1 all and ajs win was patheticComment

Parker fought and beat the fit version of Ruiz, not the blimp aj tip toed around too scared to engage.Comment

I like when people analyze boxing like its algebraic.I can agree with you to a degree on that. It COULD happen just like in any other fight but I don't think it's very likely.
We've already seen Fury get up from Wilders bombs & I don't think anyone believes AJ hits harder than Wilder.
If Fury boxes him, I could see him winning 12-0 or stopping AJ off of pure exhaustion& frustration from swinging at air all night. If he comes straight at him I could see AJ having a better chance but still losing.
Basically AJ has nothing Fury hadn't already seen and that's no knock on AJ. Yea he has a punchers chance but so did Wilder & everyone else before him
Plus and minus.Comment
