I also remember thinking Malignaggi was a good choice (thinking this pre-fight) as Malignaggi didn't hit hard so the chin issue wouldn't be there.
I could probably dig out old posts but issues with Hattons chin after Collazo were out there and discussed.

Please show me where Hatton was badly rocked against Collazo? He was walking Collazo down almost every round, it was one of Hattons toughest fights and he was getting hit cleanly a lot, but did he go down?
How many times was he dropped after this fight and who by?
The guy had 48 bouts, if he had a chin like Khan it would have been shown before this fight.
To try and argue he has a glass chin is just ******

If your answer in Floyd, I will remind you that Floyd was fighting at 135 when Hatton was already at 140. Floyd moved up to 140 in 2005 and destroyed Gatti. Hatton and Cotto refuses to fight the smaller guy when he called them out.
So Floyd moved up to 147 and suddenly he’s the bigger guy? How?

Simple facts;
Floyd was fighting at 135 then moved up to 140 in 2005. Hatton was fighting at Jr WW already so Hatton was bigger. It’s just simple facts.
Floyd did call him out and called Cotto out as well and they both refused. Regardless, Floyd stayed at 140 for just a year then moved to 147.
Lastly, Floyd fights at the weight he walks at. Every single fighter Floyd has fought at 147/154 have all outweighed him on fight night by 15 to 20 Ibs or more. With the exception of Marquez and Manny of course.
More important, and to avoid “playing games”, my only gripe is people who claim that Floyd beat Hatton because he was bigger? Or even Marquez.
Are you one of those that believe that the only reason Floyd was able to beat those two guys was because he was the bigger man?
