Bute took a vicious beating in the fight vs Froch
And he’s right to say he was never the same after that fight
You could tell he was gun shy and very hesitant
At least he retired with all his wits

Froch vs Bute, what a brilliant night that was.

Never forget that 95% of NSB was picking Bute to spark him out.

Nice to hear boxers not sugarcoating anything.

Butes mistake in this fight was thinking he could stand and trade with Froch, he tried it three times, the first two he got buzzed and the third he just got destroyed.

Such a breath of fresh air when you don't get an excuse. Fair play Bute!

Got to admire his honesty. I was at Froch vs Bute, it was an intense atmosphere! Most people fancied Bute, Froch obviously had other ideas. I still think a Froch is underrated by many.

No bute you were exposed. If you was good you'd have comeback. Look at pac. After he was knocked out he wasn't the same. He was nervous but still claimed scalps. Claimed scalps whilst lacking confidence and not looking himself.
And he's getting mojo back at 41. And with the career he's had on top of it

I never considered him as one of the best in his prime.
