Did Naoya Inoue duck Srisaket Sor Rungvisai?

Do you think he did? Remember before Roman Gonzalez-Rungvisai 2, he was all excited how he was going to fight the winner of the rematch, then after Sor starched Gonzalez in 4, Inoue suddenly has weight problems and moved up to bantamweight.

You can def argue he could have stuck around to fight ssr , cuadras , Gonzalez, or Estrada in '15, '16, '17. Not sure I would call them ducks if he truly couldn't make the weight anymore once one of those fights opened up for him but there were some misses there either way you put it and super fly is / was stacked and would have been great for his legacy if he stuck around there til he got a chance to notch one of those scalps .

I don't remember the exact politics/ availability of the legacy fights when he was there . I believe the monster was injured in 2015 . But that still leaves late 2014, 16, and 17 for him to make one of those fights and I really expected him to take on atleast one of those names coming off his destruction of navaraez. It's a shame he didn't and with the time frame it can be said he missed some of those names for sure . Atleast one of said fighters would have been available during his stint at Supa-fly .

I’d still like to see that fight at 118.

SSR is certainly big enough to be a force at bantamweight.

It was obvious Inoue's sights were set on Gonzalez specifically. When he lost on the main card with Inoue fighting a lesser opponent on the undercard, Inoue opted not to participate on the return card as had been anticipated even though there were other great fights to be made, and he ended up fighting a lesser opponent in Boyeaux before leaving the division. Don't know his reasoning, but it's not a good look that he was in a division with three other fighters who have been ranked top ten p4p in recent years yet didn't fight any of them whereas they've faced each other.

HBO pulled out of boxing, and the WBSS announced a bantamweight tournament. He moved up for the tournament. There was no guarantee there would be another SuperFly event.
