Changing trainers and managers isn't the worst thing you can do as a professional boxer. Its how Oscar went about the changes that was foul..... But he was young then, with a father never satisfied with anything he accomplished, and often voicing his dissatisfaction.... Oscar still has some growing up to do at Canelos expense and sanity..... The BIG money they earn together will keep it civil as it can possibly be....que sera sera..

Of course, the relationship has improved. Ginger just had to blow off some steam that's all. If Canelo wasn't happy with Oscar, then he could have easily signed with Eddie Hearn. Instead, Oscar just had to throw him a few carrots in order to pacify him and now all is well in paradise.

You can fool people sometimes but hey people couldn’t be cheated by Canelo. Everyone tried hard to make Canelo this mega superstar but PPV numbers say something else. That’s what happens when you are overrated and get too many gift decisions or fight little men like Amir Khan. Had Canelo not been given gift decision I’m sure he would have been way bigger despite the losses.

I don’t know if it’s improved or both sides realize they will be in business together for a while. Canelo signed a longer deal with GBP before the DAZN deal.
Let’s be honest though, going forward what does Oscar really do for Canelo. DAZN by and large has a big say in the opponents so Oscar and his team aren’t really making deals with other fighters. I think Canelo will just ride out his deal then go on his own like Oscar and Floyd before him.
Oscar promising the GGG trilogy without Canelo giving his ok was a big deal IMO. How do you trust your own promoter after that?

not easily signed with anyone else at all. he’s still trying to find ways to split.
