    Wladimir Klitschko's best win?

Is it David Haye? Povetkin? Pulev? Byrd? Chagaev?

I'll go with his win over Samuel Peter.
Peter was a ferocious puncher and they fought at a time when Klitchko's punch resistance was being seriously questioned.

The win ofvedr Peter was very important. It is said that Vitali had told Wladimir to retire. He got knocked down by Peter afterwards three times. But won. Had he lost the fight, his career would surely have been over. But the next fight he had against Chris Byrd was his greatest win. Before the fight, Roy Jones, not a Wlad believer had though that Byrd would pull off the second fight. Heck, he had seen the Wlad Brewster first fight as a 50 50 afair. And Brewster though taking a big beatilng through out came back to win. His first fight with Byrd had been a pretty easy decision, but with this second fight, by knockout, He became the number one man in the heavyweight division, the true champ, something he would be for the next 9 years, the second longest reign ill heavyweight history.

I remember being at the lake with my gf and friends. Sometimes I forget that these euro fights are matinees in the middle of the afternoon. I bailed and had my brother come and pick me up and we got back in time to see the fight. It was a good win for Wlad at the time for sure. Especially with the KO. I’m a wlad fan though he could frustrate the heck outta me at times. Still I think his volume of wins while at the top is his legacy not so much huge single wins. I don’t blame him for not fighting Corrie Sanders again.

Definitely Pulev and the way he defeated him. Pulev gets a lot of remarks on here but he’s more proven then Wilders best win . Pulev was also Furys mandatory in 2013 that Fury avoided ,this is telling because it was early in Furys career and Wlad sparked him .

              Byrd I think.

Hayes was a CW who never got any good HW wins himself

Pulev? you're kidding, he's not even a pretend champ.

              Chagaev was a pretend champ.

Peter? Those guys must be joking too...Peter beat no one by the time Wlad beat him and Toney was a joke by the time Peter fought him.

Chris Byrd picked up his best win just before fighting Wlad in 2000 with a prime Vitali and went on to pick up a few more good wins after Wlad beat him, like Tua, and Holy, until he rematched Wlad and was sent out of title contention.

Who else did Wlad ever beat that actually beat a respectable HW champion let alone two with one clearly in his prime and the other not so far removed from it as to lose all respect for the win. Also, Tua's a good ass name that would have looked good on Wlad's resume.

You can tell me Pov was prime, but Pov beat no one and no one when they were hot and rising. Peter ****** nuts his whole career. Pulev didn't do ****. Haye's the only one close and he comes in right at the end of Valuev. Valuev ain't Vitali level and when Haye foought Valuev is secondary to the Byrd-Vitali fight's timing as well.

              Byrd by a mile.

I'd say its gotta be Chris Byrd or povetkin but povetkin never even won a real title . I gotta go with Byrd. On paper sadly hasim rahman is prolly in his top 3 wins . I know that version of rock was shot to **** but he's still the only true heavyweight champion that Wlad ever beat . That's really not saying much for wlads legacy.

Wlads legacy is def longevity . Quantity over quality. I know its not his fault when he was born , but he really did not beat one great fighter . The 2 closest things to great fighters he ever faced he was old and lost both , and both fury and Joshua still have a lot to prove themselves as their careers are still going .
