Filipino-American Brian "The Pinoy Punch" Viloria, 19-0 (12 KO) will be defending his WBC Junior Flyweight title against the rugged Mexican contender Omar Nino Romero, 23-2-1 . The fight will take place in the fight capitol of Las Vegas.
Viloria, who fights out of Hawaii, is coming off of a tough war against Jose Antonio Aguirre in which he was forced to go the distance. He is a big puncher for his weight and won his world title with one of the most sensational knockouts of the year, a first round annhilation of Eric Ortiz. Viloria is eyeing possible big fight showdowns with Ivan Calderon, Jorge Arce, and Vic Darchinyan.
