“ Manny Pacquiao obliterates McGregor in one round” - Paulie Malignaggi

After capturing his second UFC belt, McGregor turned his focus towards boxing. He took on the legendary, Floyd Mayweather in one of the biggest PPVs ever. During the build-up, McGregor sparred with Paulie Malignaggi.

A small portion of the training footage was shared with the public. The video displayed ‘The Notorious’ getting the better of Paulie. According to Paulie, McGregor’s team heavily edited the video to hype up the Irishman.

Since then, Paulie has not forgotten the incident. The boxer went after McGregor and even challenged him for a fight. In a recent interview with Boxing Scene, Paulie said that he is willing to beat the sh**t out of McGregor. Furthermore, he also gave his opinion on Conor McGregor vs Manny Pacquiao

In the past, McGregor has entertained the idea of competing in boxing for one more time. However, Paulie thinks it won’t be against Mayweather as it is not realistic.

Soon after his bout with Mayweather, Pacquiao also reached out to McGregor’s team. The Filipino showed a keen interest in fighting Conor. But the match never materialized.

Paulie believes that McGregor will never fight him or Pacquiao.

“I think Manny Pacquiao obliterates McGregor in one round,” said Malignaggi. “McGregor will have advantages of bringing money to the table, but I think he values his name. If he’s going to fight either of us in a boxing match, he’ll be exposed.”

I used to belive Paulie's line that the footage was just edited to make MCG look good, but after seeing him get whooped by that MMA bum in bare Knuckle, I think MCG probably owned him in sparring

Pacquiao definitely stops him, i'm not sure if he does it in one round though. McGregor is pretty tough when it comes to actual punches being thrown, his weakness is submissions. Pacquiao is more aggressive than Mayweather, so he would likely stop him in under 10 rounds. I can maybe see a ref or corner stoppage because McGregor would take too much punishment and his face would suffer visible injuries quickly, due to Pacquiao's high activity.

I also believe Pacquiao would beat Mcgreggor but I don’t think Malignaggi’s words are of a good basis especially now. Paulie is just soundly bitter when it comes to Mcgreggor.

Saying ‘he’ll knock him out in one round’ is like a childish prediction coming from Paulie. Clearly, he’s speaking out of his emotion instead of his boxing mind.

Just when we thought paulie couldn't hate anyone more than pacman along comes mcgregor haha . I truly believe paulie would fight conor for winner takes all . Mcg is in his head . Hes seriously butthurt over that footage haha . I wouldnt be surprise if paulie fought conor for free if he truly believes he can win and dominated conor coming off the couch in those spars like he claims .


Usually paulie tells it how it is unless we are talking pac/ mcgregor or anyone who has anything to do with those 2 lol .

Imagine Pacquiao being planked by McGregor lol. Pacquiao would stop McGregor and wouldn't carry him rounds. Not sure about 1 round but it wouldn't go past 6 for sure imo.

If McGregor wants to waste some great boxers time then he has to
prove he can beat a boxer first. Paulie fits the bill. Has nothing going on and has the experience to throw Connor some angles.
