Does basic logic tell is Errol Spence is shot?

What logic? All he got was some broken teeth, a few bruises, maybe a concussion?

My logic says wait and see. He wasn't exactly looking his best in the 2 fights before his accident. The accident could of ruined his career or it may be that wake up call he talked about.

Time will tell, I hope its the latter cuz he's a great fighter with an exciting style and he he is one of 2 fighters that can make one of the biggest fights to be made in the sport.

Even with all that he climbed to the top of a vert ramp in 2002, dropped in and won an X-Games silver medal against a bunch of fresh athletes. I understand that BMXing isn’t boxing but it shows that injuries don’t necessarily spell the end. You can find ways to adapt and work around them.

You shouldn't have made that point seeing as operating a bike is very different to having your head punched and relying solely on your body to succeed. You even recognised that so you should've left that out.

Willie Pep was in a plane crash, suffered severe injuries, broken leg, broken back, 3 people died. Took 4 months off and resumed fighting on the 5th month. Pep fought 10 times that same year.

Spence needs to get over it.

The fact that he's alive and seems fine shows he was extremely lucky. Apparently it does happen sometimes when people are thrown from the vehicle. Being drunk also helps sometimes because the body is more relaxed. He's bound to have been thoroughly checked over. The facts are the facts.

But what the doctors have actually deduced isn't what we're being told. The man will have broken some bones at least, relax all you like but if you get tossed from a vehicle at high speed onto a pavement you will be busted up badly. Him being relaxed likely saved his life but it definitely didn't mean he broke nothing but his teeth, plus if he landed face first like that injury would indicate he'll have major head trauma. He can likely come back but he'll never be the same.

Your body can fall apart in different ways. By being abused from external forces and by you pushing it to the limit until a screw comes loose.
