20 million guaranteed is never super easy fight to pay for or make, not for Hayman, Arum or Hearn. Manny after Horn wasn't worth 10 million but after the post-Thurman beat-down, Manny has regained status and may be worth $20 million it if Arum can find a backer. BIG IF!!!!!


For the record, the PBC and Al Hayman have never offered an opponent a guaranteed 20 for a reason.

Weird this fight is suddenly happening. Pac didn't want it before. Is it possible Crawford is going to throw the fight because he desperately needs a big payday? Pac has all the leverage to call the shots (like Canelo fixing GGG, SRL fixing Hagler).

Why Pac suddenly wants this high risk fight with Crawford is curious to say the least.

Pac is the money fighter. Bud is B side.

It was Arum who didn’t want the Pac vs Crawford fight. Pac was demanding $20 million guaranteed purse but Arum wouldn’t go for that which was weird because he paid Pac more than that to fight Algieri, Rios and Bradley. He probably knew Pac was still very capable of defeating Crawford which he was grooming to be his next cash cow and could derail his plans. It’s not true he was protecting Pac from getting seriously hurt, he didn’t worry about Pac when he made the Pac vs. De La Hoya, Cotto and Margarito fights and those guys were way more dangerous than Crawford.
