If We're Going to have Fights without Attendance, Hold them in Famous Gyms

Like the Mayweather gym or the Kronk gym in Detroit. Empty arenas or ballrooms would be depressing. This would give it a gritty club fight feel, only with the best in the sport. Would love to hear the reactions of the coaches and few observers. The optic would be great my opinion.

I was thinking they should recreate the backgrounds from Street Fighter 2 but this idea is better.

Gyms do not have the ability or camera setups to properly broadcast a major fight. You can’t just have someone broadcasting from their iPhone

Yup, good call, I think mentioned that in another thread when someone was talking about innovations to how shows are produced - maybe it could bring some different type of venues/settings.

We've seen the old school gym setting for fights in the first season of The Contender.

It had a couple of small bleachers for maybe 50 select "fans", family, etc.
