  • Comments Thread For: Arum: Fury-Wilder III Talks Same Collegial Conversation We Had For Second Fight

Bob Arum has plenty of reasons to have enjoyed how things turned out in the rematch between Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder earlier this year. What has the Hall of Fame promoter eagerly anticipating the third fight, however, has less to do with his own fighter's success but replicating everything that went into the previous event.

After Fury’s boxing clinic in 1st and straight up beatdown in 2nd...no intrigue for 3rd. Not worth Ppv $ to see another beatdown of overrated hype-job Wilder.

wilder is as skilled as fury as boxer but he do have that one hitter quit punch so you can't count him out

OK fight, kind of interesting but PPV worthy? NO! A none competitive fight that ends sooner.

Even if Wilder lands a lucky punch Fury gets up and beats him up for a 3rd time. Nothing has changed from 1 and 2, we've seen this fight.

If the networks are cool with the revenue generated by Wilder vs. Fury II, which is way below Mayweather vs. Pacquiao, then Boxing might take back it's proper position in professional sports!

Don't get me wrong. I'm never looking pay more money to see a fight, but if this isn't worth PPV, then what fight is?

Its sad that the only fighter that has knocked Fury Down twice.. An almost KO'd him in the first fight... An has Ko'd every fighter they put in front of him.. Is still labeled a bum and not worth watching??? Wtf is this rubbish! Don't they know that Fury their boxing master was almost KO'd by the so called bum??? Yes, he barely got up at 10! Facts! And was almost Ko'd by Otto wallin! What's the saddest is when Wilder got looked at by the doctor for a extra 15 seconds at the start of round 8 of Luis Ortiz 1.. People say that helped Wilder recover.. But don't acknowledge that Fury was given 10 seconds to get up.. Followed by a additional 15 seconds to walk back and forth following the instructions by the referee.. Directly after the knoxkdown.. Unlike wilder that was starting the eight round after a minute rest.. But his 15 seconds helped him.. Lmao! Like I said.. I like Fury, AJ.. And Wilder.. They are for the hw division.. But I gotta be fair. Question Which fighter was booed in America by his own people at the weigh before the first fight?. Yes.. which fighter Was he booed at the weigh in at the second fight by his own people in America?.. Yes! Now.. Think.. What's wrong with this picture? Is it really because he's a shyt boxer hypejob? An his Right hand is fake? Because everyone says this man is a hypejob.. With no boxing skills.. An he always get outboxed until he luckily lands the right hand... Wtf.. He got lucky 40 times in a row? Fighting and Koing 41 bums? Every is so sure he should retire!?!?!? And he's not exciting?? And should check himself in a mental hospital??? WTF!!! These are not boxing fans!!! These are not people who love the sport.. These are mostly racist, lame cowards! I'm not going to let a fighters skin color stop me from enjoy this sport! I got a question America.. Why don't we support our fighters???? Oh.. I know why.. Lmao. Omg! Lames!

Glad talks are going well but the second fight wasn’t some big success. You had two networks and two promoters splitting the pot. Before the fight it was said the fight had to do a million plus buys to be profitable with all the money they spent advertising. Didn’t come close to that.
Don’t think a third fight does any better. Fury showed he had the blueprint to beat Wilder and he’s not the guy that’s going to suddenly become a better pure boxer in 8-10 months.

Shirley and Haymon simply didn't have any choice but to cooperate doe.
He'll fight Fury again if he wins, believe me.
His whole career has centered around Fury.
