I didnt like mayweather in that fight, he looked sloppy, his timing off, I think the claim by him that he only sparred a few weeks due to hand issues are believable.

The number 1 surprise of the fight for me was Connor took mayweathers shots very well, floyd had to break him down. Floyd still punched considerably harder than Connor.

Paulie v Connor in boxing would be very weird, neither could hurt each other. You only see that in either kids matches or youtube celebrity boxing, where they are landing on each other but cant hurt each other. Paulie could try to box him early and wait for him to tire, but the early rounds, Connor is so awkward coming from odd angles and they end up clinching a lot, his size alone could wear down an aging paulie.

Floyd was partying in the clubs multiple nights leading up to the fight. I think at one point he was out till 3am the night of the fight? I don't know if that's true, but if it is, that's crazy for him to be able to walk McGregor down late.

I think McGregor could hurt this version of Paulie. Young Artie Lobov was landing on Mr. "He never hit me" Malignaggi. If Artie could hit Paulie, McGregor certainly can, and I think McGregor because of embarrassment from Floyd would go out overly aggressive looking for the knockout against a guy that couldn't even hurt Sam Eggington.

Yeah I get it, Connor used him, lied about their sparring, put out 10 second clips of their sparring to the media, paulie has no footage himself only Connors people do, Connor broke his trust and unwritten rules on talking sparring details.

But its been 3 years. Are you going to be like Fraizer-Ali or Larry Holmes being a bitter old man in your 60s still complaining about the same ****. Paulie had a good career and still has a gig today that most boxers could only dream of having.
