Errol Spence Jr. isn't worried what will happen the first time he is allowed to spar since suffering serious injuries in a scary car accident 6 months ago. Spence has been working hard in Dallas, so that he is in shape when the time comes for him to begin training camp for his first post-coronavirus fight later this year. The IBF/WBC welterweight champion still doesn't know, however, when he'll be cleared to spar.

He says "I have no restrictions in my training except sparring". And I would say, yeah, it would be messed up if he hit the speed bag and his teeth fell out, lol. But seriously, I'm glad he survived and no one else was injured. He can use that experience in positive ways and be a better person, like we all can when hard lessons come our way. I wish him the best of luck. I miss seeing him perform in the ring. One of the best.
