Comments Thread For: Mikey Garcia: Willing To Do Studio Fights If That's What It Takes To Return

Mikey Garcia wasn't thrilled with the 50 weeks he had to go between his last two fights, nor does he ever again want to experience the 30-month ring hiatus he endured before his comeback in July 2016. On that note, the former four-division titlist doesn't want to waste any more time than necessary out of the ring-even if it means fighting in a far more intimate crowd than to which he's grown accustomed.

Boxers need to think outside the box...

First half decent bout organised after lockdown will go through the roof imo.. it may not be what they want but it could be very lucrative for a fight they'd prob not even earn half...

Maybe a low profile fight vs Josesito Lopez would be a good the next step for him at 147. Especially if it’s without a crowd

Here's a crazy thought. If you are old, feeble, have some type of immune deficiency or are just a hysterical mush-head, STAY QUARANTINED in your house. If none of that stuff applies to you, then, please, move forward and enjoy your lives. Let's do this for the next bug too, please. Why forcefully quarantine the world, ruin the economy, etc., when the tiniest minority of us is susceptible to this crap? Can we have some sanity yet?

Buddy, you're gonna get a lot of blowback for this post..... but I will not be one of the people screaming at you. It's time. The nation is hurting. Families need to get back to real life at every level. Let's jump start things back up and, do the best we can as a society, and make the world a great place. I'm all in.

Could be a world of new viewing experience for television viewers. Fantastic things fans might be missing.

Examples: cameras in many different angles like ringside, audience's angle 20 feet away as there is ample room for cameras to move around, cameras on drones flying above, and many modern techniques producers might want to take advantage of.

Remember, the main customers are television viewers and they number in millions of homes. That's where the money will come from.

DAZN would do amazing things in a studio fight.

Good thing about DAZN is they don't rely on people buying tickets for the event. They get their money back through subscription.
